Created to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Evangelion series and the 10th Anniversary of Shinkalion, the Seiko 500 TYPE EVA-02 Limited Edition Watch is a special collaboration between Seiko and the creators of these iconic Japanese franchises.

This second collaboration is inspired by the fictional 500 TYPE EVA-02 Shinkansen, imagining what a second EVA-themed 500 Series train could have looked like. The dial is designed to resemble the train's front profile, combining a black upper section with a vivid red gradient that reflects the color scheme of Evangelion Unit-02. Three chronograph subdials are arranged to represent the driver's instrument cluster, while their curved alignment echoes the elongated nose of the 500 Series Shinkansen.

Bringing together the worlds of Evangelion and Shinkalion, this commemorative timepiece celebrates two milestone anniversaries in a single collectible design.
