Description

The G-SHOCK Akachochin collection is inspired by the red paper lanterns that hang outside Japanese izakaya, a sign of warm hospitality since the Edo period.

The lantern-red dial is printed with the kanji 耐衝撃 ("shock resistant"), the orange backlight glows like lantern light, and the black buttons and band loop recall a lacquered lantern holder. The case back carries a lantern engraving, and the packaging includes a lantern that glows in the dark. Choose the square DW-5600 or the round DW-6900 case.
